About the Library

The Alberta Government Library - North Petroleum Plaza Site primarily serves the staff of Alberta Energy. This site receives approximately 75 journals and has approximately 12,000 books and technical reports focusing on oil, natural gas, electricity, minerals and deregulation. Collections specific to this site include the Alberta Mineral Assessment Reports and the Ministry of Energy depository collection. The library provides full reference service, document delivery and access to the collection to Energy staff. Other clients can make use of a limited reference service and on site borrowing of selected areas of the collection.
