About the Library

Red Deer College is a comprehensive community college which offers diplomas, certificates,apprenticeship/trades programs, first and second year University transfer programs, an applied degree in Motion Picture Arts, and brokered degrees in Nursing (U of A), Education (U of A), Social Work (U of C), English (U of C), Sociology (U of C) and Psychology (U of C), General Studies (Athabasca U) and Management (Athabasca U). The College was established in 1963 and now has a student population of 3600 FTE.
